21 years ago today Yolanda gave birth to Megan.  We were all there waiting to welcome her to the family.  I was lucky enough to be in the delivery room when Megan was born.  I wish everyone could have seen the look of wonder on Yolanda's face when she first saw her baby girl.  She loved her more than life itself.  And she would be so proud of how strong and beautiful she is and what a wonderful spirit she has.  I know wherever Yolanda is now, she is still proud of her little girl.  We all are.

I have very many wonderful memories of Yolanda. Today, being Megan's 21st birthday,  I have such dear memories of the day we were all at the hospital awaiting Megan's birth. That was such a joyfull time for us all. I was so glad to be a part of Yolanda's life.

Yolanda always liked to play jokes on people.  She found out I had nightmares after reading a book that had a "talking bush" in it.  She convinced Sammi to go outside my bedroom window and talk to me through the bushes.  I was not amused.  I wish I had been.
